ARTICLE 3 - LOCALITY

The activities of the Society are to be carried on in the area of the City of Halifax, in the Province of Nova Scotia as its recognized by the Nova Scotia Minor Hockey Council. The Society shall include all of the peninsular Arm, including Georges Island and to the west by Dutch Village Road north to the Bicentennial Highway as well as north of the Bicentennial Highway extending to the city limits to the west and north and bordered by the city limits and the Bedford Basin to the east.

BOUNDARIES

 

Included within these boundaries is the entire peninsula of Halifax and Georges Island, all of Fairview, Clayton Park, Beechwood Park, Rockingham, Bridgeview, Sherwood Park, Sherwood Heights, Wedgewood, Birch Cove, Kent Park, Princes Lodge and Fernleigh Park and any new subdivisions developed within the following boundary.

 

Beginning at the Bedford Basin as the Eastern boundary, along the old city of Halifax boundary, between Millview and Fernleigh subdivisions, between 741and 757 Bedford Highway, along said boundary in a southwestly direction until intersecting with 345 Kearney Lake Rd. (currently the Lebanese Club), continuing in that southwest direction to Charles Lake, thus constituting the northern boundary. At Charles Lake continuing in a southerly direction through Charles Lake, Charles Pond and Washmill Lake until intersecting with the Bicentennial Highway and continuing in a southerly direction along the Bicentennial Highway until it reaches Joseph Howe Drive to  the Armdale Rotary constituting the western boundary.
